duBizz was born out of a simple frustration: no platform existed that properly connected project controls, finance, HR, and governance for Australian businesses. So we built one.
From consulting frustration to product conviction
Our founding team spent years delivering project controls outcomes for Australian organisations across construction, renewables, government, and professional services. We kept hitting the same wall — clients using five tools that didn't connect, leadership teams unable to get a clear picture of portfolio health, and delivery teams drowning in manual consolidation.
We looked at every platform on the market. Enterprise ERPs were too expensive and too slow to implement. Standalone project tools lacked finance and HR integration. Nothing was built specifically for the Australian delivery context — AU payroll, AU compliance, and the kinds of governance frameworks that actually get used.
So we built duBizz. A platform that connects every part of a project-driven business into one operating environment — without the enterprise price tag or the 18-month implementation.
